Jerome Robinson and Ky Bowman declared for the 2018 NBA Draft Wednesday, refusing to sign with agents in order to preserve college eligibility should they go undrafted.
Robinson, in his third year on the Heights, was recently named to the Associated Press All-American team following an outstanding 2017-2018 season. Robinson led the ACC in points per game during the regular season, with 20.7 ppg on the season and 24.3 ppg in conference games.
At 6'6", Robinson is one of five national finalists for the Jerry West award, given to the top shooting guard in the nation. He also added First Team All-ACC and ACC Player of the Year runner-up to his trophy case.
Bowman has also had a strong run in his two years as an Eagle. His 2017-2018 season earned him All-ACC Honorable Mention. He finished the season ranked fifth in the ACC in scoring (17.6 ppg) and eighth in assists (4.7).
Robinson and Bowman will travel to the NBA Draft Combine May 16 (after finals, of course) and await selection starting June 21.
