11 most Instagram-worthy views of Boston College

An Instagram marketing blog, Nitrogram, recently taught America a lesson that every Superfan learns immediately upon enrollment: Boston College is the most Instagrammable campus in the country. In fact, BC looks so darn good from every angle that its Instagram account, @bostoncollege, has the highest number of followers out of any American university.

In honor of our campus's Instagram-worthy views, we took a walk around campus to capture our favorite picturesque campus views through our favorite Instagram filters. After all, there is no better way to savor something beautiful than to technologically alter its appearance through a cell phone camera.

11. The Robsham Statue

Does anyone really know what this is? There are rumors that it is supposed to represent two airplanes, but... what? Why?

10. The Lower Banner

Nothing makes you feel old quite like realizing that the incoming freshman class is the Class of 2017, huh?

9. The Gasson Eagle

Breaking news: There is more than one way to photograph Gasson.

8. Gasson

If this were a popularity ranking, Gasson would get first place. However, this isn't a popularity ranking, and we're quite frankly bored of all the Gasson Instagrams on campus.

7. The Doug Flutie Statue

It's only right to commemorate the guy who may or may not have inspired you to come to Boston College.

6. Stokes

The newest addition to main campus isn't too shabby.

5. BC Flowers

These flowery masterpieces are pure art. Can someone add "shadowing BC landscapers" to the fine arts core?

4. Bapst

Ah, yes. The classic "Look high school friends, I go to Hogwarts" Instagram.

3. The Mods from Edmonds

Don't feel bad if you have to live in Edmonds as a senior. After all, Instagramming the Mods is almost the same thing as living in the Mods. (Note: That's a lie.)

2. The Res

This view almost makes running less terrible.

1. The St. Ignatius Statue

The original Superfan. Boom. He can't be beat.
